The DVD is a convenient,widely accessible format for either video or data distribution (or both). The discs are inexpensive,easy to master and to have mass-produced,and have become a common format for a variety of business communications.
However,producing DVDs requires skills not yet common in the workplace. Video capture and editing,menu design,and the encoding of the MPEG-2 video requires some understanding of video data rates,codecs,and interaction design.
